The average one-way commute in St. Louis, Missouri is a source of frustration for many. Cars stuck in traffic at an intersection, long waits at stoplights, and the ever-present possibility of being late to work or an appointment can make the daily commute a stressful experience. Even worse are the travel times for “supertravelers”, the unfortunate 10% of Americans who travel more than an hour each way to set a clock.
When it comes to the worst average of trips to work, the metros of New York-Newark-Jersey City, Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim, and San Francisco-Oakland-Hayward take the top three spots. On the other hand, metros with the best average of daily trips include Ogden-Clearfield, Utah; Provo-Orem, Utah; and Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This Saturday, May 6th is an exciting day. Not only is it the coronation of King Charles III of Great Britain, but it's also the day of the Kentucky Derby.
